We are so thankful for all of the support this project has received from the community, our friends and family. It's hard to believe that after just three years we have accomplished so much here at Churchill School with the help of the community, friends, family, volunteer groups and complete strangers.
Then along came 2020 and everything changed.
On our wish-list of things to help improve the experiences people have while they come to Churchill are as follows. These things may not save the building directly, but they will help us to show the world what amazing things are or could be happening here.
An upgrade to our screening system for films, public presentations and music events is another thing we know will be an improvement. While we have a system that makes it possible to do what we're doing, we know with some upgrades we can provide you with a better experience.
A new screen will cost between $2,500 and $4,000.
Lastly and most simple on our wish list is a re-circulating pump for our water heater to be added to the showers of the Old School Bike/Ski Hostel. The cost will be in the ballpark of $600 including the pump and labor.
